You're listening to the Get Out N Drive Podcast Fueled by AMD with your host John CustomCarNerd Meyer and Jason OldeCarrGuy Carr will be bringing you gearheads, everything you've never wanted to know about cars and why they should be on the road and not in your garage. Are you ready to Get Out N Drive?

John
Welcome back to another fantastic episode of the Get Out N Drive Podcast Fueled by AMD. I am John CustomCarNerd Meyer.
Jason
I'm Jason OldeCarrGuy Carr.
John
Now Jason, I know most of our listeners are car guy listeners, car guys and girls gear heads have been around for a bit and. Do you remember Tim Allen's original car guy show? That was on television?
Jason
Yeah, I certainly do. It was a. It was a household favorite back in, in his.
John
Day. Well, you know that show was, I think it was on the air from 1991 to 1999. That'll put it around eight seasons. And I watched it. First run and I watched every single bit of it. I remember Boyd Codington stuff, I remember Pam Anderson, Tim Allen being, playing Tim Taylor, all that stuff his friend Richard Karn, you know.
Jason
Al the neighbor Wilson.
John
The neighbor Wilson, peering over her face. You never lost face, but he was very, very, very insightful. He always had great.
Jason
But you never signed from the land.
John
Things to say, some sort of wizardry, some sort of whimsical thing. Well, well, that went, went away and went to what I think is a terrible show. Last man standing and I never watched one of them. I never, I've never seen 1/2 a second of that show.
Jason
So let's go back to that for a second then here, because I know where this conversation is going to go. This for those who haven't figured it out yet, this is a Tim Allen sitcom type. Retro, whatever you want to call it, but Tim Allen is kind of the focus here. I, for one, loved last man standing. I watched every episode.
.
Deal.
Jason
So.
John
I have not been won.
Jason
Then how can you say you?
John
Don't like it? I have seen like a moment of one and said Nope, I never saw it again.
Jason
Well, then you need to go see at least three moments.
John
So I need to give.
Jason
It a chance you need to give it a chance because I know you. Mm-hmm. Because I know that you like home improvement.
John
Yes.
Jason
And I know that you like the new series that we're going to talk about here in. A moment too.
John
Ohh yeah.
Jason
You cannot. You can't be upset with last man standing. I'll tell you why. It is truly Tim Taylor's reincarnated, and in fact, I liked last man standing better. Than the most recent. Show that that I just binge watched over the weekend.
John
Oh, I don't know.
Jason
I'll leave it.
John
I hang. I don't know if we can.
Jason
Be friends anymore. I'll leave it. Listen, you can't. You can't have an opinion over something to. Watch. What are you liberal? Yeah.
John
I mean, I just, I don't know. I don't know. Maybe I'll give it a try.
Jason
You should so here. Here's the thing we do in. Our. Household when it comes to watching a new series, it's a three episode.
John
OK.
Jason
Hint. Commit yourself to three episodes. I guarantee you'll be in it for the. Long haul, really. I guarantee it.
John
Well, I I'll trust you if I if I had you start using wealth through primer and argon CO2 gas.
Jason
As expensive as it is.
John
As expensive as it is if you got, if you started doing that. If you started doing that, I will do a little bit of last man standing. In fact, I'll even go this far. I'll. I'll watch last man standing. If you watch the office.
Jason
Ah.
John
That's rough, that's rough.
Jason
You're an. No. You know why it's. Rough. It's rough because. You're an asset. I couldn't say I literally could not make it through that full first episode of the office, and we're talking about the American office here.
John
Ohh that it's cringy that first one is cringy and it's terrible.
Jason
Like I just, I can't. Don't make me do that.
.
Oh.
Jason
I'm telling you.
John
You'll be hooked. Well, let's get back. Let's look. Look, we'll, we'll, we'll yell about this when we're at sea 10s in.
Jason
And also.
John
The city? Sure. How about that?
Jason
Let's put a bookmark in that.
John
You can bookmark that we can yell about that. So anyway. I've been in the auto restoration industry for over 35 years. Man, have things change. I remember scouring salvage yards to get body panels for rust repair, or my last resort. Poor quality aftermarket sheet metal, but then I found AMD AMD is trusted by restoration experts for providing high quality body panels, rust repair parts, glass trim, and weather stripping. When I'm restoring an OBS GM truck. Mopar muscle car or a Ford Dent-side pickup AMD is my go to resource for reliable high quality parts. Visit autometaldirect.com and use the code GOND or a 10% discount exclusively for our listeners for a limited time. AMV authentic restoration. Modern quality. Has. I've been watching Jason. You said you've been binge watching. I've been watching Tim Allen's new show shifting gears. I haven't looked around much on the net. I don't know if it's a super smash hit. As a body man as a mechanic, as somebody who's been in the auto industry forever, that this is something that is the cringiest mass of a show that I've ever seen on TV, and I can only put it as I like Tim Allen, I like hot rods. I like seeing hot rods on TV. I certainly like seeing Kat Denny. Easy on the. Eyes, but her voice. I'm sorry. Her voice. She's not the nanny.
Jason
Pretty damn close. That's what made. That's what. That's why I found it hard to get through shifting gears. Yes, it's a little bit cringy. The jokes are a little bit sideways, a little bit of pop, pop, pop culture in there, which.
John
Right, you know. It is very. Yep.
Jason
I like.
.
Good.
Jason
I do like the cars, but man.
John
Her voice it's difficult to get around. It's hard and I can only say this and Congrats to the actors. You know, I certainly like Sean William Scott who doesn't love Stiffler or Stiffler's mom Stiffler being in it though, you know from American Pie. I think this is like if I talked to my mom about hot rodding and then she wrote a television show.
Jason
Yeah.
John
That's pretty much where we're at with shifting gears, but I'll take what I can get. If I can turn on the television and I can not see football, I can not see baseball and not watch *** **** hockey. And now watch anything else and all this other trash. NASCAR that's going to hell. And if I can turn on and I can just zone out and watch shifting gears and see Jay Leno have fun. And Tim Allen, every single one of the cars in the episodes are Tim Allen's own personal car. So I think he's got a little bit vested in this. You can see without him going.
.
Uh-huh.
John
All the time you can see him being Tim Allen. You can see him being Tim Taylor. You can see shades of the past and that's what attracts me and I guess it's already. 90s nostalgia for Tim. Tim the toolman.
Jason
Taylor. Yeah. You know, it's funny. We talk about the 90s and, you know, certain things that I run across this meme the other day that said something referring to the late 90s as. The late 1900s. And at first I was, at first I was, yeah, at first I was a little bit mad, and I looked back. I'm thinking, you know what I'm going to.
John
Up to the. Throat, you know, as a nature. So I. Can come back.
Jason
Own this a little bit. 90s to me, was playing a pivotal role in and that type of humor moving into the next century, moving into the 2000s because like you look at what's on TV today, sitcoms are few and far between, and they are absolutely atrocious.
John
Well, sure.
Jason
Like I do like the cast in shifting gears. The whole point of the show is Tim Allen to be able to express his political views without. Necessarily cramming them down your throat. They are very diversified with their cast. They are, they. They've got one of the one of the ladies that works for Tim in his shop. And his name is not Tim. On this, it's Matt. Matt Porter. Yep. And. And. One of his employees is a female, so that's pretty cool that that he's got a female working in his shop. She's admittedly gay in in the in one of the episodes, again, I got nothing wrong with that. They've got a black man who's in a wheelchair, so you're kind of killing two birds with that one. You know, and Stiffler is there in probably as even though this is a comedy.
.
Oh.
Jason
In probably one of the most serious roles, yeah, without being a total jackass. That. I've been impressed with his. I mean, granted, it's writing that they've written his character the way he is, but I've really enjoyed watching that. If I had to rate Tim Allen's sitcom series in Order of Best to worst, I'm gonna, I'm gonna go. Just. Hear me out. I'm going to.
John
For those who can't see me, I have my fingers.
Jason
Go in order.
John
My ears.
Jason
I'm going to go in order in which those series came out. I love home improvement. I don't think that you could ever top home improvement when last man standing come out. I would. That's what was in my mind is OK, you just you can't top that. I wouldn't say they topped it. They did a very good job. OK. And I really liked the episodes he showed a few of his cars in some of those episodes, and it just showed a completely different side, a more modern. Tim Taylor and in fact some of the episodes crossed over where Patricia Richardson played a neighbor. In several episodes where she complained about her husband. And of course, if you caught the innuendo she was making reference to Tim Taylor, even though she wasn't that she was a different character anyway. If you haven't seen that, you gotta watch it. John. Seriously. It's well worth it.
John
I'll give it a whirl.
Jason
And I guarantee that when you watch it. I can guarantee you won't come away hating me for telling you that you should be. Watching it.
John
That's big words.
Jason
I'll leave it at that, however. I'm still not watching. The office.
John
So you were talking about nostalgia. I think that they're doing a good job writing. Shifting gears, I mean, they're trying to get. Three from what I can see, three different generations of people are shown in the show. They've already argued back and forth with Sean William Scott's character, Gabriel, about carburetor to fuel injection. They've already argued about. What I would consider or what Tim Allen considers a street rod to arrest Oman. That is kind of edging on people kind of putting in the new technology in an old car. And Tim Allen's character is. Is probably they don't say an age, but he's a deep Gen. Exer. And his daughter's age. Is. Is a millennial. And then their children are. Shenzi. And that's where I put everything. I mean they kind of give a little bit of hint here and there about, you know, his daughter says Dad, you can't say those things. And Dad says them anyway. And I watch it and I see, oh, holy crap, I see. That's what I say all the time. Maybe I shouldn't say those things. Maybe I should change my views. Maybe I should do the same thing, but I see myself a lot in in Tim Allen's character and shifting gears having Jenna Elfman, which everybody knows is EVE and is her character. But from Dharma and Greg from the 90s. And that kind of puts a little nostalgic spin on everything. But I like the show. I think right now I kind of give it a B plus. It hasn't made me Super super surprised. I like seeing Jay Leno. I like seeing Chip Foose's drawings on the wall. I like to see a whole lot of different stuff that I really recognize. I like to see vintage air parts I saw. Parts that I know for are from specific companies. They're building a factory 5. 34 Ford on that show and as a hot rodder you can watch that show and have a little interest in it and get it. It's corny. I get it. You know, it's, it's wacky, but it's a sitcom and I'll kind of it's tongue in cheek, but I seem to.
Jason
Like it? Yeah. And. And you touched on it. Or second there too with, you know, saying things that you shouldn't and this and that like we go back to like what were some of the edgy sitcoms that we watched John growing up, you know, one that comes to. Mind. Was Roseanne. Roseanne was very. Really edgy, they push those boundaries a little bit. Home improvement, not so much. But when you get into.
John
Ohh no, I'm for television.
Jason
Ohh, absolutely. And that's what? That's what sitcoms were. Right, you go back to the 70s. Yes, you had The Jeffersons, which again, a little bit edgy. You had Archie Bunker. You know that type of stuff where things that were said. Said they were you. You didn't necessarily get cancelled in the 70s today you say black when something's white and all of a sudden you're the worst person in the world. But what this show does is it doesn't necessarily. Portray, in my opinion as. A bit of a conservative myself. It does not necessarily sit there and push. An agenda? More so, it allows you to be who you are and who Tim Allen is. And if you go back and you watch the original home improvement, where it's comfort and then you get into his other series, last man standing, last man standing takes a few stands here and there. And then you get into this one that's doing much the same thing. That's what people like Tim Allen wanted to see, wanted to be able to do. That's why he got cancelled off one network with last Man Standing, finished out with another network was because the networks thought it was a little bit too much to say. And tried to cancel them and another network said. You know what? I don't think so. We're going to pick that right up and we're going to fly with it because we think you should be able to say what you want or not care about offending people. Comedy is comedy. You know, we we've had, we've, we've had different discussions that in private before. That. We probably wouldn't have on in front of a hot mic and I think everybody has those conversations no matter which side or you're leaning, no matter what. You have conversations with each other as friends, as companions, as husband and wife that you may or may not have most likely wouldn't have in a public forum, but we should be allowed. To speak our minds, we should be allowed to say what we what we want. If it offends you, that's a you problem. If it makes me laugh, that's a me problem. But if you're having, if you're being offended by me laughing at a joke, get over. And that's where this sitcom is trying to place itself. Let's be funny. Let's put aside our petty differences and yeah, he's going to stick a political something in there a little bit once in a while, but. It makes it funny. So why not just roll with it? Why? Let's stop. Crying about things, people we're gonna get ourselves canceled, by the way.
John
I'm just saying I don't care. In so many words, Jason just said Family Guy is on the air, but Roseanne got cancelled. Exactly. Yeah, and that's what I mean. I just said it.
Jason
In a nutshell, South Park is still on the air and they poke fun at everybody. They have not hit.
John
Yeah, everyone. That's correct. They're still blaming Canada. Well, it's probably Canada is the problem, but I don't. Know what to say.
Jason
More than likely.
John
Yeah, but yeah. So basically, if you're hot rodder and you like cars or if you want to introduce your other generations in your family into your passion, I think. Good thing to do is watch shifting gears. I dig it and I recommend it.
Jason
Yeah, and it is family friendly.
John
Yes.
Jason
Right. So again, if you are concerned about certain things and this and. That. Language or? Certain content that you may find you don't want your kids to want. This is something I believe that truly you, you can let any age watch. If you don't like the. Conservative leaning political jokes that may pop up in this show once in a while. Well, maybe it's not the show for you, but chances are, if you're listening to us, it probably is. So I encourage you that if you have not watched. This show? Yet there's the first season, is out. It's ten season 10 episodes currently. I'm not sure if there's more coming. Out or not. It seems to be doing well. It seems to be creating quite a buzz. I'm happy about it. In fact, so much so that John felt the need that we should record this episode talking about it. Last to last, maybe I don't. Maybe John, you can tell us why you wanted to promote, but I'm thinking it's less about the actual promotion of the show and more about the promotion of. Another opportunity to get kids, get youth, get that next generation involved in something. Tell us. Tell us exactly where you were coming from with.
.
That.
Jason
The get out and Drive podcast is always looking to support the next generation in the auto industry and hobby through our what drives you. Initiative.
.
Our.
John
Friends at AMD know that younger enthusiasts are out there building vintage cars and trucks while incorporating modern comforts. AMD restoration parts maintain that classic look needed for restomod builds.

For a limited time AMD build or enthusiasts buy enthusiasts. Speaking of Jay aloud, Jay. Leno plays himself in this series. Later on in the season, so one of the things that makes that kind of important as part of this show is Jay Leno. As you guys all know, is a huge car enthusiast, huge collection. Current. We're talking mega celebrity here. Who? Who uses his celebrity status and his celebrity money to collect cars. But he also uses his influence to help curb things like. What's currently being dubbed as Lenos Law in California, they have an exemption for, you know, emissions standards. That is almost 50 years old. Which means if you own something pre, I think it's 1978. You're good, but anything after 78 you need to have that thing emissions compliant in the state of California. Your hot rods, your rat rods, your street rod, whatever it happens to be. And Jay Leno thinks that's a little bit too far fetched. He wants to bring it up to a 35 year standard. To say that, you know, if these things came from the factory with certain emission standards, they want to keep it that way with help from Senator Shannon Grove of the State of California, Jay Leno is helping to push. These new laws to exempt. Cars that aren't that old so that we can. Continue to use. These things and not have to worry so much about, you know, emissions compliant. They're very, very few of these. Even though California is the hub, John, for, you know, hot rodding, they want to be able to bring this up and, you know, exempt a few more cars very, very few collector cars left on this planet. Why are they being portrayed as? Bad. So huge shout out to Jay Leno for using his influence to help better the automotive industry as well.
John
Well, I can certainly tell you that. Seeing Tim Allen's background in hot rodding and everything he's done with SCA and all sorts of things, he's things that he's done throughout the years to pass on information to the next generation and there's so many of his cars that. That he has built that are that are Hot Wheels there is. 1996 SCCA Pro Racing Challenge. He was with the Allen team and Saleen team. They built the RRRR Speed Lab Mustang and that immediately became a hot wheel and it went right into the hands of kids and adult collectors. And he took that car. And he won the 1995 SCCA World Challenge in California. And took the same car and he completed 1997, 24 hours of lemons. That was the first Mustang to complete that in since 1967. And to actually bring that level of. Competitiveness to the to the forefront of everything and kids have Hot Wheels of this, it kind of brought everybody back to. Hey, there's a hot rodder on TV and he's in my living room all the time and I can share his. Passion with my kids and that's what we push all the time with what drives youth. No matter what you're doing, I don't care if your dad got mad at you because you held the flashlight wrong. He probably wasn't mad at you. There was something wrong. Something somewhere, and you had to get the car fixed so he can get to work. Share your passion with the kids. Make sure that you have your kids. Hold the flashlight and tell them how. Teach them righty tighty, lefty loosy. Teach them all the things you need to do. Sit down. Get them off the phone screen. Get them down watching, shifting gears and share your passion.
Jason
Yeah. And if they're not listening to any automotive podcast, this is a great place to start. Get it and drive. Podcast fueled by AMD, who has joined us for 2025 to be our title sponsored, John and I are getting ready very, very soon to head down to Atlanta. John will be traveling from Saint Louis. I'm going to be traveling from New Brunswick, Canada and Juniors coming with. So for those of you who. Only see junior in my videos on my YouTube channel. Old car guy. He's going to be down there to see 10s and. The city checking things out, coming on a father, son road trip. And again, this is exactly what we're talking about, bringing our kids along. Junior is no longer a junior, you know. He's 25 years old and he's an adult himself. He's moved on, living his own life. Some stuff like that. But he still enjoys hanging out with his old man. And I really appreciate that. And I just hope that, you know, moving forward when the time comes for him to have kids and his. Friends, you know, see the relationship that him and I have that this is exactly what the passion is all about. It's about sharing it, getting out, doing things, going to shows, hitting a road trip, even if it's just two or three hours down the road or 23 hours down the road like C 10s in the city, it's going to be a fun trip. Now we're getting together. Stay tuned to our Instagram and if you're not following me as well over at old car Guy on Instagram. We'll be posting lots of stuff about the trip and how we're getting there, where we're going to be stopping places like that. So if you guys wanna, you know, stop meet up, check on old Dale Junior, the Suburban, we're getting really, really close to getting that thing back together and getting it done and road worthy for this trip. So see 10s in the city, may the 3rd. That's on Saturday at the Olympic Stadium parking lot. I believe in right in the heart of right in the heart of Atlanta, so.
John
It's going to be a great time. Man's.
Jason
Gonna be a great time looking forward to meeting some old friends. Looking forward to making some new ones and I can't wait, so I hope to see you guys in Atlanta on May the 3rd for C 10s in the city.

Jason
Yeah. Well. Folks, when we record an episode, sometimes after the specific topic that we want to talk about happens, we decide. That, you know, we just have a casual conversation and it leads to some really ridiculous topics and what you're about to hear is exactly what happened after recording the episode of Tim Allen and his new sitcom Shifting Gears. So we just kind of tangent away off into never Neverland.
John
Grab the emergency brake and make a left turn.
Jason
So I hope you.
John
Pull. Pull them. Yes. Pull one of them, Rockford turns.
Jason
We're about to break down.
.
Not everyone understands your nonsense.
Jason
Well, we do and that's all that. Matters. But thanks for setting us straight. Joy, that's what she's here for. John, please tell me you saw the post that I tagged you in of bad Chad in this ridiculous 3 tone Pontiac. Bull crap car that he's working.
John
On I can certainly tell you it was the worst day for me to have eyes. I was. I was sad that I could see that day. The I don't know where to start, the colors or the top shop with the window don't fit the front windshield doesn't fit. There's 100 things that was. That.
Jason
Well, you've done a lot of cars in in your day, like you've painted a lot of weird colors I have. Sir, why did you paint your car black, purple and yellow?
John
Oh my God.
.
Oh.
Jason
Sorry, I know why.
John
I think it's cool, but not on that car. I think it'd be fine if the top was the same height and it was. It was painted like. A vintage NASCAR.
Jason
Self. Admittedly, he says he understands that this is not. The color this is not the color choice for a lot of people. He's going for a certain look, a certain kind of a race car. Look, with this thing. Whatever he's trying to do. He gets it, he understands it. And I think for the most part, he does it specifically to get the interaction.
John
That's where I was headed.
Jason
You know, I don't, I don't think for a second that bad Chad is stupid. I think he's very intelligent. His artwork leaves a lot to be desired, but when it comes to creating controversy and views and all the stuff he's doing, he knows exactly what he's doing. Folks, I think that that's exactly what his plan was, is to create this **** ****. I don't even know what kind of car. What is an old Pontiac or something?
John
60. Honey.
Jason
Yeah, and this thing, it was a beautiful car in its patina state before he started. And I'll even admit I like the fact that he chopped it.
John
I have way too many words.
Jason
Go ahead. I'm just saying, like, again, everyone's taste is different. And I think what he's trying to do is he's trying to pull that out of people. He's trying to be so different. I like a chop top on certain vehicles. That one there it he in my opinion. He kind of pulled it off. But he messed the whole car up when he mixed three different colors that just simply did not go together black and yellow. Go together right in my opinion. Purple and black can go together. Purple, black and yellow do not go together, especially in the way that he's painted this thing I. I don't. No. He's done exactly what I think he set out to do and that was to.
John
**** *** the Internet. Ohh I believe so. I believe and I can say this and I hope Paul's recording this. He's whistling diesel of custom car world because if he wants to come through with a torch and a paint gun and a hacksaw. And cut the living **** out of everything and make the Internet explode. He's doing it in my brain. You can't mix styles. Please don't put white walls on billet wheels and some people kind of go up to the end of the rule and kind of step and look over the line. And sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't. If you're gonna paint something that's purple and yellow and black and you want to make a what it looks like an old race car out of it or something, don't chop it. But you're doing all these things. You're going to make a vintage looking stock car, put some numbers on the side of it, put it, patina lettering, do whatever you want to with it, but you start mixing styles like that and you start ******* everybody off and he's doing a great job of it.
Jason
Is 358,000 YouTube subscribers. Seem to be following along quite well so.
John
It's. It's the Howard Stern effect that whistle and diesel took. What's? He going to. Do. Next, you know what half my followers hate me and half my followers. What? Love me. But do you know why all my followers TuneIn? To see what I'm gonna do next, Howard Stern did it. He got it to happen. So it's whistling diesel. And so is bad. Chad, I may hate bad Chad situation. Think he's like a total mess and has to be the recipient of a make a wish program. I'll say it 100 times. I don't care. But he's smiling all the way. To.
Jason
The bank, John, tell us how you really feel, buddy.
John
Oh, you don't want. To know.
Jason
It's I. I know that's very difficult for somebody with your background who has done, you know, auto restoration, auto restoration, restoring things back to original, maybe making a custom here or there this and that. The IT it's hard to. Course. I'm going to say it's hard to watch a hack. And it doesn't matter what type of hack you're watching. I am not a mechanic despite what everybody says despite the comments that come through my channel. Despite everything I've been around the automotive industry for 30 years now. I know a lot I'm not licensed. I'll be the 1st to tell you that. But I'll also be the 1st to tell you that Scotty Kilmer. Is a hack. You watch this channel. What makes him big is his hype, his hand waving his high pitched voices, his idiotic screams and everything that he does, and the fact that he banks on. Sure. His experience as a mechanic? Well, he's been on TV for 25 years. So where does his experience come from? In front of the camera talking about his being a mechanic? Yeah, he he's good at that. But in my opinion, a hack and millions. Of people flock to that. Right. Vice Grip garage here's an example of somebody who's got a stick that attracts people in. A good way? Mm-hmm.
.
MHM.
Jason
Right. Do I think that Derrick Berry is this schmuck Moe that you see on his YouTube channel in real life? No, however. I think he's probably a pretty cool dude to have a beer with. The little stick yokel Joker guy that he does on, that's what's making him popular. That's what's making him famous. That's what's attracting people who love to watch automotive revivals. See him fixing stuff. See, he does a little bit of hackery too.
.
MHM.
Jason
You know, like sanding the side of an S10 truck with a cinder block, calling it one grit. We all have done hackery in our lives.
John
MHM.
Jason
And if you choose to put that hackery on. Performance for people to watch. You're gonna make a killing, and I believe the names of the people that we talked about here today are doing it on different levels. Some are doing it worse than others, like the whistling diesels and the bad chads, but some are doing it and they're banking.
John
Pole barn garage.
Jason
Pole barn garage Dalton is like he's killing it. Exactly who you see exactly who you see on that YouTube channel is exactly who you get. That is Dalton to a TV every day Monday through Friday 24/7, that is.
John
Don't kill me. Yes.
Jason
Him. He's a character. Yeah. And I knew that the first time that we met him when we had him here, when we were talking about the holy goat.
John
Hmm. Hell, I bought a car from him. You talked about the stupidest thing ever to do in the entire world. Bought buy a car from that guy. It was fantastic tappers, boys. Right. It was fantastic and I made the most of it and he's a great guy. His kids. Awesome. And that that whole situation, so everything you see on his channel, he pisses some people off and he's doing a great job. So kudos to.
Jason
Him as well. He does. But like I said, I don't think I don't think particularly he's doing anything different than he would normally do if the camera wasn't rolling. I think this is what he does. He turns on the charm a little bit because you know you got to. You got to make it interesting. But I truly believe that he's one of those guys out there that who he is. And what he does and the funny and the comedy that comes along with it is exactly who you. Get when you meet them. We could talk about a lot of hackery. I don't know how we get on this tangent.

John
Every day I can see myself just exactly like the. Guy from Gran Torino.
Jason
Clint Eastwood. Mr. Eastwood has not gone and he ain't protecting no daughter.
John
Where'd you get all them tools that may be an odd concept to a thief like you, but I worked and I made money. And. I bought them. That's my favorite line in that whole. Movie well.
Jason
And again it's you. You, you look at certain movies like there's a perfect example of him teaching that young kid. You know a little bit of respect and, you know a little bit of how to work on the car and appreciate. The. Car go back to karate kid. Same thing. Wax on you. Like you learn to appreciate certain things.
John
I saw a thing the other day, Jason, and it showed a picture of a lady and it said when I was 14, I stole my mom's car and I went to with my friends out smoking and drinking. And my 14 year old kid is afraid to order their own food at the restaurant we. Are not the. Same.
Jason
Yep.
John
